The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.
This 3-day updated course has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards for twelve (12) Construction Supervisor License continuing education credits covering all mandatory subjects needed to maintain and renew your construction supervisor license.
Attendance at all three days is required to earn the CAPS designation, and to earn the 12 CSL credits.

Wednesday, Nov 29: Marketing & Communicating with the Aging-in-Place Client
(CAPS I):This course equips participants with the knowledge and tools to effectively market and sell services to the aging-in-place (AIP) market. This course qualifies for: 0.6 AOTA CEUs

Thursday, Nov 30: Design Concepts for Livable Homes and Aging-in-Place
(CAPS II):This course enables participants to identify common challenges and understand attractive design concepts that create a safe and comfortable environment for clients who want to age in place (AIP) as well as individuals who have a condition that requires home modifications or equipment. This course qualifies for: 6 HSW/LU Hours by AIA, and 0.6 AOTA CEUs

Friday, Dec 1: Details & Solutions for Livable Homes and Aging-in-Place
(CAPS III):This course builds on the CAPS I & II courses (which are prerequisites for this course) by introducing design solution techniques, innovative products and best practices for product installation for CAPS professionals to utilize when creating livable homes in which to Age-In-Place. Participants will engage in hands-on activities from real case studies to apply material learned in all CAPS courses. This course qualifies for: 6 AIA/CES LU
