Workforce Training Fund Grants for New & Incumbent Employees - Kara Galvin
- The On the Job Training Program assists employers with the cost of hiring and training new employees. It is funded through the Federal Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act and administered through the MassHire Career Center. Employers are reimbursed a percentage of the cost associated with training new employees
- A description of the recruiting resources available from the MassHire Career Center to employers at no cost to assist in identifying, screening and referring qualified candidates for their open positions.
- Best Practices to reduce turnover by conducting effective job interviews and on - boarding procedures for new hires including sample questions and evaluation techniques to identify the best candidates.
